Cryptography

In this chapter, student’s will learn:

• About the primary types of cryptography and algorithms in common use
• About public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies

At completion of this course student’s will understand the following:

• About the primary branches of modern cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric ciphers, hashes, and steganography. You should also know how the different types are used together for tasks one couldn’t perform alone, such as key exchange and digital signatures.
• How digital certificates are created, used, and revoked as part of a PKI structure.
